Wet-Weather Jackets, Trousers and Rainsuits for Australian Worksites
Choose wet-weather workwear by garment type, environment, visibility requirement, size and the precise supplier specification. This Industrial Shed collection contains more than 100 active and draft product records, including Maxisafe rainsuits, Worksense PVC rain jackets and extensive Elliotts Zetel XT, Zetel ZX FRAS and Zetel ArcSafe jacket and trouser ranges. It is built for purchasing complete rainwear systems without presenting every product as technically identical.
A standard rainsuit, a long PVC rain jacket, a FRAS-labelled wet-weather garment and an ArcSafe-labelled jacket serve different requirements. Colour alone does not establish visibility performance, and “wet weather” does not automatically mean that a garment meets a specialised flame-resistant, antistatic or arc-related requirement. Confirm the exact SKU and supplier documentation against the site risk assessment.
Maxisafe rainsuits
Maxisafe CPR623 navy, CPR625 yellow and CPR626 orange rainsuit families are represented across broad size runs, with both individual and carton-quantity listings. These ranges make it practical to select personal issue or order crew quantities while keeping colour and size consistent. Check the individual product page for the supplied set contents, construction and intended use; do not infer that navy, yellow and orange versions have identical visibility attributes.
Worksense PVC rain jackets
Worksense product records include three-quarter-length reflective yellow PVC rain jackets across multiple sizes. The longer jacket format may suit tasks where extended upper-body coverage is preferred. Confirm the exact product’s closure, cuff, hood, ventilation, reflective and material details before purchase, especially when the garment will be worn over other PPE.
Elliotts Zetel wet-weather ranges
The draft Elliotts range significantly expands future coverage and has been retained rather than removed. Visible records include Zetel XT Z59 jackets and Z49 trousers in fluoro orange or yellow, Zetel ZX FRAS Z59 jackets and Z49 trousers, Zetel FRAS Z50 four-in-one jackets, and Zetel ArcSafe Z59 jackets. Size records extend from small or medium through selected 4XL, 5XL and 6XL lines.
These supplier family names and codes must stay attached to the exact products. XT, ZX FRAS, four-in-one and ArcSafe are not generic synonyms. Draft status also means a product may not yet be available for storefront purchase; contact Industrial Shed to confirm activation, price, stock and lead time.
How to choose wet-weather workwear
-
Garment system: decide between a jacket, trouser, matched rainsuit or multi-function outer layer.
-
Work environment: consider duration of rain exposure, wind, temperature, movement, abrasion and whether the garment is worn over other clothing.
-
Visibility: verify the exact colour and supplier-listed visibility or tape details for the SKU.
-
Special hazards: where FRAS or arc-related performance is required, select only from documented supplier data and workplace requirements.
-
Fit: allow for underlayers, movement and the full size range needed across the crew.
Complete the worksite clothing system
Pair rainwear with suitable gumboots and waterproof footwear, work socks and insoles and task-rated hand protection. For ordinary high-visibility clothing, compare hi-vis shirts and jackets and hi-vis vests. Specialist welding and heat garments belong in flame-resistant workwear, while general trousers and shorts are available under work pants and shorts.

Frequently asked questions
Is every yellow or orange rain garment hi-vis compliant?
No. Colour alone is not proof of a standard or use classification. Verify the exact supplier specification for the SKU.
What is the difference between a rainsuit and separate jacket and trousers?
A rainsuit is supplied as a coordinated set, while separate garments allow size, style and specification to be selected independently. Check product contents before ordering.
Are FRAS and ArcSafe wet-weather garments the same?
No. These are distinct supplier-labelled families. Use the exact product data and workplace risk assessment for selection.
Can draft Elliotts products be ordered immediately?
Not always. Drafts are retained for range development; Industrial Shed can confirm activation, price, availability and lead time.
Can Industrial Shed quote mixed sizes for a crew?
Yes. Provide the preferred garment family, colours, size breakdown, quantities and delivery location for a consolidated quote.
