Exposure conditions can vary significantly between dry internal locations, protected construction areas, external environments, coastal locations & chemically aggressive sites.

Where corrosion resistance is important, check the project requirements & product specification before assuming a zinc-plated component is suitable for the exposure conditions.

A Bigger Bracket Isn't Automatically a Better Bracket

M30 sounds bigger than M20 because it is.

That doesn't make it an upgrade.

Bracket sizing should follow the bracing arrangement rather than a “bigger must be stronger” purchasing decision.

Using the wrong size may create compatibility problems with the brace, fastening hardware or connection detail.

A practical selection sequence is:

Specification → bracing system → bracket size → associated hardware.
