Manufactured from high carbon steel and fully heat treated, the drill offers excellent durability and resistance to bending during heavy-duty drilling. The extended 700 mm overall length allows trades to drill through wall cavities, posts, beams and other structural timber components that require long reach access.
The auger incorporates a single outer spur that cleanly scribes the edge of the hole while the precision-ground cutting lip removes timber efficiently. A coarse feed screw point ensures fast starting and accurate placement in all wood types, while the optimised flute design rapidly removes chips to maintain drilling speed and hole quality.
