Designed for workshop and on-site applications, this robust die nut delivers dependable performance for general-purpose threaded pipework and mechanical tasks.

Manufactured from durable chrome alloy, this die nut features a 1/4" major diameter with 19 threads per inch (TPI) in the BSPT (Rc Series) thread form — based on the Whitworth V-thread with a 55° angle, widely adopted for pipe fittings that require a pressure-resistant seal through tapered threading. Die nuts are commonly used as thread chasers to clean existing threads, or to cut new male threads on non-ferrous metals like aluminium, brass and bronze, as well as plastics.
