The Bordo 1/4" x 19 BSPF 2" Chrome Button Die is part of Bordo’s professional threading tool range, engineered for cutting and chasing British Standard Pipe Fine (BSPF) external threads with ease in workshop and on-site environments. Designed to work with a die stock handle, this split circular chrome alloy die delivers dependable performance for general-purpose threading and thread repair tasks.

Manufactured from chrome alloy with a 2" outside diameter, this BSPF threading die features a 1/4" major diameter and 19 threads per inch (TPI) in the fine BSPF thread form — commonly used for mechanical coupling and external pipe threads. The die can be used to clean (chase) existing threads or create new male threads on non-ferrous metals and plastics. Chrome alloy dies are suited for everyday threading work but are not recommended for precision, safety-critical or highly specialised applications.
