Featuring a bottoming lead design, this tap is ideal for producing full-depth threads at the base of blind holes — perfect for trade, workshop and general fabrication applications.

Constructed from durable high speed steel, this 9/16" diameter tap has an 18 threads-per-inch (TPI) UNF profile — a thread form commonly used where fine pitch and increased tensile stress area are important. The bottoming lead (two threads) minimises thread run-out, allowing maximum usable thread depth when finishing blind holes.
