The Bordo 1-1/4" x 7 UNC Intermediate HSS Tap is a premium threading tool designed for precise internal thread cutting in a wide variety of general-purpose materials. Engineered for both hand and machine use, this intermediate tap delivers reliable and accurate threading performance for heavy-duty fabrication, mechanical assembly and maintenance applications.

Manufactured from high speed steel (HSS) and configured with an intermediate flute lead, this tap produces a balanced thread form with four threads lead that cuts clean, precise UNC (Unified National Coarse) threads from a pre-drilled pilot hole. The 1-1/4" major diameter with 7 threads per inch (TPI) is ideal for standard imperial fastener sizes used across engineering, construction and industrial maintenance work.
