Manufactured from premium High-Speed Steel (HSS), this BSW tap set incorporates the traditional 55° Whitworth thread profile with rounded roots and crests as specified in BS84:1956 — a form developed by Sir Joseph Whitworth in 1841. The set typically includes Taper, Intermediate and Bottoming taps, allowing you to initiate, cut and finish internal threads from start to bottom of blind holes.
