Designed to ISO metric fine standards, this bottoming tap delivers strong, accurate internal threads in medium tensile materials and is ideal for workshop, fabrication, maintenance and general trade applications.

Manufactured from durable High Speed Steel (HSS), this metric fine bottoming tap features a 60° thread form with a flat crest and clearance at the root, enabling efficient engagement between internal and external threads. The larger root radius and optimized thread height help improve ease of cutting while strengthening the thread profile. Bottoming taps have a lead of two threads and are typically used after an initial taper or intermediate tap to complete threading to the bottom of a blind hole.
