Manufactured from premium High Speed Steel (HSS), this Metric Fine (MF) bottoming tap features a 60° thread angle with a flat crest and thread clearance at the root to ensure excellent engagement between external and internal threads. Its larger root radius and reduced thread height make screw thread processing smoother and increase thread strength for dependable performance. Bottoming taps have a lead of two threads and are typically used after a taper or intermediate tap to complete the thread to the base of a blind hole.
