Manufactured from durable High Speed Steel (HSS), the 8 mm diameter tap features a 60° metric fine thread form with a flat crest and root clearance, ensuring excellent engagement between internal and external threads while reducing cutting stress. The bottoming lead (two thread lead) enables minimal thread run-out when tapping to the base of a blind hole, especially when used after a taper or intermediate tap.
