Manufactured from durable High Speed Steel (HSS), this metric fine tap features a 60° thread angle with a flat crest and clearance at the root, allowing efficient engagement between external and internal threads. The intermediate lead — with a lead of four threads — ensures true thread cutting in a pre-drilled pilot hole, balancing ease of cutting with strong thread formation. A larger root radius and optimized thread geometry enhance thread strength and improve chip flow during tapping.
