Designed for workshop and on-site use, this bottoming tap is ideal for finishing threads after initial cutting with a taper or intermediate tap.

Manufactured from high-speed steel (HSS) with a 60° metric coarse thread profile, this 6 mm diameter tap with a 1 mm pitch features a bottoming lead (two threads) that ensures maximum thread depth and minimal thread run-out in blind holes. The flat crest and root clearance promote solid engagement between internal and external threads, while the larger root radius and reduced thread height help improve thread strength and make cutting easier. This general-purpose tap is suitable for use in medium tensile materials by hand or with a general machine.
