Manufactured from premium High Speed Steel (HSS), this metric coarse (MC) bottoming tap features a 60° thread angle with a flat crest and clearance at the root, allowing strong engagement between internal and external threads and enhancing thread strength. Bottoming taps have a short lead of two threads before full threading — ensuring minimal thread run-out when tapping to the bottom of blind holes.
