Safety and workwear for Australian trade, site and workshop use
Industrial Shed’s Safety & Workwear collection brings together personal protective equipment, practical work clothing, safety footwear and wearable site accessories for construction, fabrication, maintenance, warehousing, agriculture and industrial work. It is a combined starting point for customers shopping head, eye, face, hearing, respiratory and hand protection alongside work pants, hi-vis garments, welding apparel, wet-weather layers, boots and job-ready accessories.
Select every item against the actual hazard, task, climate, movement and site rules. A product’s colour or marketing name does not establish compliance. Confirm the exact standard, class, protection level, material, fit, compatibility and care requirements on the individual product and current manufacturer documentation.
Personal protective equipment
Shop the focused Work Safety Protection range for safety glasses, goggles, face shields, hearing protection, hard hats, respirators, gloves and site-control products. PPE is the last line of defence and must follow the workplace risk assessment, hierarchy of controls and safe-work procedure. Face shields commonly supplement primary eye protection, while respirator selection depends on the contaminant, exposure and correct facial fit.
Safety footwear and work clothing
Browse Safety Boots & Shoes by toe protection, sole construction, slip performance, penetration resistance, water resistance, ankle support and closure. Choose work pants, shorts, shirts and jackets by fabric weight, stretch, reinforcement, pocket layout, visibility requirements and climate. Use the brand’s current size chart for the exact garment or boot rather than assuming sizes are consistent between ranges.
Hi-vis, welding and weather protection
Hi-Vis Shirts & Jackets must be selected for the required day or night classification, garment configuration and reflective material. Elliotts and other specialist ranges include welding jackets, aprons, gloves, sleeves and related protective garments. Flame-resistant, arc-rated, heat-resistant and welding apparel are different claims and must not be treated as interchangeable. Wet-weather garments should balance water resistance, breathability, coverage and freedom of movement.
Brands and supplier-specific strengths
Current safety and workwear ranges include Maxisafe for eye, head, hearing, respiratory, hand and footwear products; Frontier for gloves, head protection and site-safety items; Elliotts for welding protection and protective clothing; Worksense and NXP.WRK for jobsite clothing; Mack for work and safety footwear; Ergodyne for selected wearable accessories; and Weldclass, Weldtronic, Milwaukee, Kincrome and other authorised brands where the exact product belongs in the collection. Ratings, materials and warranty terms remain specific to each SKU.
Care, inspection and replacement
Inspect protective equipment, soles, seams, zips, reflective tape, suspension systems, filters and closures before use. Replace damaged, contaminated, expired or excessively worn equipment in accordance with the supplier’s instructions and workplace procedure. Follow garment care labels because incorrect laundering, alteration or contamination can reduce protective performance.
